How to Propagate a Pothos Plant
Follow these simple steps to propagate a Pothos plant:
- Choose a healthy vine with several leaves.
- Identify a node (the small bump where roots grow).
- Use clean scissors to cut the vine just below the node.
- Remove the bottom leaves near the cutting.
- Place the cutting in a glass of water, ensuring the node is submerged.
- Position the glass in bright, indirect light.
- Change the water every 5-7 days to prevent stagnation.
- After 2-4 weeks, roots should appear.
- Once the roots are a few inches long, transfer the cutting into soil.
- Water the new plant and watch it grow.
